Why Routine Matters for Sensitive Skin
Sensitive skin thrives on consistency and simplicity. Too many products, too many active ingredients, or frequent formula changes can overwhelm the skin barrier and trigger reactivity. A well-structured routine with gentle, certified natural products gives your skin the stability it needs to stay calm and healthy.
The Core Steps: Morning Routine
Step 1: Cleanse
Start with a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser that removes overnight impurities without stripping the skin's natural oils. Avoid foaming cleansers with sulphates — they disrupt the skin barrier.
→ KERTIH Sensitive Skin Face & Body Cleanser — ECOCERT-certified, vegan, suitable for face and body.
Step 2: Tone & Mist
A prebiotic face mist helps balance the skin's microbiome and prepares it to absorb the next steps more effectively. Mist onto clean skin and allow to absorb before applying serum.

Step 3: Serum
Apply a hydrating or brightening serum while skin is still slightly damp for better absorption. For sensitive skin, choose serums with hyaluronic acid or Vitamin C at a skin-compatible concentration.
→ KERTIH Hydrating Serum or Vitamin C Serum
Step 4: Moisturise + SPF
Seal in hydration with a fragrance-free moisturiser, then apply SPF 30+ (not included in our range — we recommend a mineral SPF for sensitive skin).
→ KERTIH Sensitive Skin Moisturiser Fragrance Free
Evening Routine
Step 1: Double Cleanse
In the evening, start with an oil-based cleanser to dissolve SPF and makeup, then follow with your regular cleanser.
Step 2: Treatment Serum
Evening is the ideal time for targeted treatments. Use a peptide or retinol-alternative serum to support skin renewal overnight.
→ KERTIH Peptide Anti-Aging Serum or Retinol Alternative Moisturiser
Step 3: Moisturise
Finish with your moisturiser to lock in the treatment and support overnight repair.
Key Rules for Sensitive Skin
- Introduce one new product at a time — wait 1–2 weeks before adding another.
- Always patch test on the inner arm before applying to your face.
- Avoid products with synthetic fragrance, alcohol denat., and sulphates.
- Look for ECOCERT or COSMOS certification as a quality benchmark.
